SX-70 folding camera
SX-70 film

This is shot number 88 of the possible 100 SX-70 polaroids I began with over a month ago. I now have only 87 shots left of this magical film in my lifetime.

This is what parts of my mother's garden looks like when you look for too long and it becomes blurred.
Gorgeous shot.

this film is indeed one of a kind.
the effects are magical and cant be reproduced any other way.
just like in this pola,
the colors are warm, but it has a cool tinge to it...
lovely. :)
such a pity that they're gonna stop producing it.
they shldnt, as many polaroids photographers are still in love with it.........

Yeah I know a couple sites online that sell the film but at this moment in time I've decided that I'm going to stick with just the 100 I bought and don't get anymore. Knowing me I'll probably change my mind but for now this is what I'm standing by =P

Wonderful!

Hey, I was thinking of you the other day when I came across a store here in Vancouver that was selling some time-zero. I don't remember if it was you saying that you couldn't find anymore but if so, I know where to get it. It's around 16$.

in the background
;there
are orbs of pretty colours
need i say more about
the focus,
it is gorgeous.
i adore the washed-out hues in this,
they hint of years worth of past,
yet the flowers
are ever-blooming.

The only thing written on the camera about the model is "SX-70 Land Camera"

This would mean that it is the original model that was released. The models released after this were something like alpha 1 and 2 and 3 and this is written on those cameras

Oh! I've got something against flowershots, but that's just because I've seen more poorly taken ones than such amazing ones like this.
SX-70 Film is the best, and so is that camera. Amazing focus, amazing shallow DOF, amazing bokeh (and not to mention the lovely vintage colours). Gorgeous photo, Mr.Hughes!
